Sacrifice For Us

At Christmas we celebrated the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is “Immanuel, God with us” (Matthew 1: 23). God came to be with us in human form. God came to us in human form to show us how to live. And Jesus Christ came as a sacrifice for us. “Righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe…God presented Jesus as a sacrifice of atonement” (Romans 3: 22 & 25). The forty days of Lent are upon us and we have begun the journey to the Cross. Let us remember the birth of a child who was born to be sacrificed on a cross. The gift of Christmas is a sacrifice for us. The gift of Christmas is our reconciliation to God and our eternal life through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ – which was for us. Remember and proclaim that all praise, honor and glory go to God almighty!

With You in Christ,
